Brittanie Bondie (b. 1984 in Ypsilanti, MI) is a new arrival to the University of Wisconsin Green Bay where she is currently the artist-in-residence.
Her multidisciplinary art practice ranges from video to installation based works, yet is grounded primarily within photography. Thematic fields of interest that may or may not intersect in her work, yet are central include time, myth, fetishism, low/high culture and the natural world. Her most current research seeks to explore these themes by making connections between the medium of photography itself with the supernatural icon of the vampire.
